WebJul 19, 2024 · I meant the little door on the rear fender that you flip open to expose the gas cap in order to fill the tank. As I stated, the smell of gas was outside, at the driver side rear of the car, next to the gas fill door. As stated in reply # 11 above, the issue was a fine crack in the plastic of the fuel pump - just read, it's all there.
